Based in Fleming Island, Florida, InEnTec Chemical LLC was formed as a joint venture between InEnTec LLC and Lakeside Energy LLC to build, own, and operate commercial scale Plasma Enhanced Melter (PEM™) gasification facilities that will convert byproducts, hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, and chemical residuals into useful products for the global chemical industry. PEM™ technology was invented by scientists and engineers from the Battelle Pacific Northwest National Laboratories and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and commercialized by InEnTec LLC. InEnTec developed a combination of a DC plasma arc and an AC glass melter to provide an efficient, cost competitive and environmentally superior process for converting a broad range of waste materials into useful products.

Using the Plasma Enhanced Melter™, InEnTec Chemical can transform industrial and hazardous chemical residuals into clean renewable products, such as synthesis gas (syngas), hydrogen, ethanol or methanol, with minimal environmental impact and at competitive market costs.
