Advisors to the Board
Christopher Fanella is the Senior Vice President, Finance at Lakeside Energy, LLC. Mr. Fanella previously served as Vice President of Finance at Primary Energy. While at Primary Energy, Mr. Fanella was responsible for the identification, structuring and execution of all capital transactions. While in this role, Mr. Fanella raised over $850 million of capital in the private and public debt and equity markets. Mr. Fanella also was responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with the financial community, equity research analysts as well as the credit rating agencies. Prior to joining Primary Energy, Mr. Fanella worked in the Global Industrial and Services Group at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Fanella graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame. Larry Dinkin has an extensive background in business startup and management. He has been the key individual involved in the startup of three successful companies. The most recent of these companies, Marie Callender Retail Foods, was grown during Mr. Dinkin's tenure from a startup in 1987 with $2 million of venture capital to a business with over $160 million in sales in 1994 and was sold in September 1994 to Con Agra. During his career, Mr. Dinkin has received several business awards, including Long Island Entrepreneur of the Year from Inc. Magazine and a Clio Award for his Marie Callender design work. He was featured in the June 26, 1995 issue of Advertising Age magazine in the "Marketing 100" (the 100 hottest marketing successes) for the Marie Callender concept. Prior to his startup and management career, Mr. Dinkin was employed as a computer consultant at Univac, and at Coopers and Lybrand. Mr. Dinkin and LD77 Holding Corp., of which Mr. Dinkin is the principal, are the largest shareholders in InEnTec LLC. Dr. Nicholas Pappas is the former Chairman of the Board of Chemfab Corp. and a former Director and Member of the Board of Nova Chemicals and Crompton Chemicals. Dr. Pappas was President and Chief Operating Officer of Rollins Environmental Services and later Vice Chairman of the Board from July 1991 to March 1996. Dr. Pappas retired from the DuPont Company in December 1990 after approximately 34 years of service where he was Executive Vice President and a member of DuPont's Executive Committee. Matthew F. LeBaron is a managing director at American Securities. Mr. Lebaron leads efforts in the power & energy industry and industrial and consumer industries. With the firm for nearly a decade, he has also managed or worked on American Securities' efforts with previous portfolio companies including Cambridge International, Miltex Instrument Company, Primary Energy and VUTEk. Mr. LeBaron is Chairman of the Board of Lakeside Energy, FiberMark and United Central Industrial Supply Company, and is a director of Oreck Manufacturing Company. Prior to joining American Securities, Mr. LeBaron was a private equity investor at Bain Capital and a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. |
